Gerald Harvey Purser Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Harvey Purser of Buford, Georgia, who passed away on May 28, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harvey Purser and Louise Housler Purser; and his siblings, Janet Mattison, Kathleen Purser (Grey Nuns) and Paul Purser.
He is survived by: his wife Fieda; his sons, Rick (Maureen) and Bobby (Stacey); his grandson Sean; his great grandchild Lane; his sister Roberta Breitbeil (Robert); and his siblings-in-law, Marie Purser and Raymond Mattison.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Flanigan Funeral Home (4400 S Lee St, Buford, GA 30518). A prayer will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home (4400 S Lee St, Buford, GA 30518). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church (6439 Spout Springs Rd, Flowery Branch, GA 30542).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
