He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Hunter Parrish; his daughter Vickie Thigpen (Steve) of Buford, GA; his grandchildren, Alea Thomas (Brad), Matt Thigpen and Megan Thigpen; and his great grandchildren, Kiki Thomas and Aaron Thomas. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
