He is survived by: his sons, Lance (Tisha Pettus), Charles (Tonya Pettus, MD) and Bob (Pam Pettus); his brother Terry; and his siblings-in-law, Patt Pettus of Lilburn, GA and Mike Bond of Shannon, GA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
