He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard Sidney Thrift, Jr. and Lucille Knighton Thrift; his daughters, Lisa Thrift Mobley and Julie Thrift Rodgers of Austin, TX; his wife Sandy Thrift; his daughter Frisco; and his stepchildren, Jim Burchfield of Atlanta, GA, Joe Burchfield of Atlanta, GA and Suzzanne Carr of Houston, TX.. He was also cherished by numerous sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law and sister-in laws, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
