He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth McDuffie Grimes; and his granddaughter Laura Grimes. He is survived by: his children, Larry, Barbara Grimes of Buford, GA, Garry and Renee Grimes; his grandchildren, Brandy Grimes, Kimberly Grimes and Garry Scott Grimes; his great grandchildren, Brayden Daniel, Cam Whidby and Sarah Whidby; and his brother Wayne Grimes of Braselton, GA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
