He is survived by: his wife Gail Hughes Shirley of Buford; his children, Heidi Shirley Starcher (Marty) of Winder, GA and Jeffrey Lane Shirley (Jane) of Flowery Branch, GA; his grandchildren, Hope Ussery, Heather Harrison, Amber (Marshall Reeves), Adam (Courtney Shirley), Andrew (Cassie Shirley), Alex Shirley, Avery Shirley and Stephanie Bean Jones; his sisters, Dot Masters of Dacula, GA, Nancy Wallace (Gene) of Gainesville, GA and Brenda Shirley; and his sister-in-law Brenda King (Wayne) of Buford. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
