She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Gooch and Louise Jones Gooch; her daughter Melinda Freeman Stancel; her granddaughter Natalie Stancel; and her sister Barbara Gooch.
She is survived by: her husband Vernard N. Cruse; her children, Sharon Freeman Tice and Steve Freeman (Denise); her grandchild Chris Freeman (Angie); her son-in-law Dennis Stancel; her stepdaughters, Karen Cruse Hunter, Kellie Cruse Brown and Amanda Cruse Smith; her brother Kenneth Gooch (Robbie) of Buford, GA; and her aunts, Lucy Jones Hutchins of Buford, GA, Shirley Porter Jones of Sugar Hill, GA and Jannean Moore Jones of Buford, GA. She is also survived by children; 15 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.
