She was predeceased by: her husband Lawrence McLeod; and her sister Sherry Payne. She is survived by: her children, Lisa Mason of Buford and Lorinda Holtquist of Warner Robins, GA. She is also survived by three grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.

She was such a wonderful neighbor and I've missed pulling in my driveway after work the past couple of years seeing her smiling face watching her grandchildren play in the yard. “Lorinda & Lisa, you know how much I love your Mom. She was a 2nd Mom to me, & I know how much she loved Meggars & Michael, which made my heart soar with pride. My heart is filled with many, many memories. Sitting on that bar stool in her kitchen in Fayetteville & laughing & laughing! Then the Easter egg hunts with Mom & Grandpa & all of the kids. & us dancing at her Christmas Eve parties. God blessed me & Meggars & Michael by placing her in our lives. She is in heaven with "Sissy" (Mom), surely singing that country & western song, they sang to me, to irritate me. She is with her beloved daughter, Sherry.
