She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Helton and Annie Lucille Helton Garner; her husband Fred Bishop; and her siblings, Winnie Sue Helton Barrett, Norma Elaine Helton McGinnis, Bud Helton, Christine Helton, Tom Garner and Steve Garner.
She is survived by: her children, Randall Allen Bishop and Loria DeAnne Smith; her grandchildren, Andrew Bishop, Lauryn Ashley Nolan (Mike) and April Lynn Nolan; her great grandchildren, Thomas Davis, Taylor Nolan-Lee and Ivy Nolan-Lee; and her sisters, Deborah, Terry Hoopaugh and Denise Gienger. She is also survived by mother to her own children, but often became a mother figure to their friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crowell Brothers Funeral Home - Peachtree Corners Chapel (5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
