She was predeceased by: her parents, William Butler and Birdie Bell Butler; her husband Edwin Donald Nelson of Lone Oak, Georgia.; her siblings, Joyce Bentley, Frances Lester and Bobby Butler; and her sons, Sandy Ford, Danny Ford and Tony Nelson.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn (Bob Quick), Susan Ford (Michael Williams), Burndy (Garry Fleenor), Cricket (Ray Hosseini), Donna Nelson (Jeff Nielson), Pam Mullinax, Randy Ford and Bobby (Debbie Nelson); and her daughters-in-law, Cyndi Ford (late Sandy Ford) and Frances Nelson (late Tony Nelson).
