He was predeceased by : his parents, Rev. Gaylon Beard and Ernestine Beard; and his brother Tony Beard. He is survived by : his siblings, Gayle (David Gower) and Robin (Katie Keneipp Beard); his sister-in-law Lynn Beard; his aunt Patricia Beard Adams; his nieces and nephews, Chris Beard (Cindy), Chad Beard (Abbey), Matt Gower, Adam Gower (Megan) and Katie Potts (Ryan); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ashton Thomas (Nick), Alexis Schofield (Cameron), Navy Nathan Harmon, Ryan Beard, McKinley Beard, Christian Gower, Hayden Gower, Kaleb Gower, Kohen Gower, Annabelle Potts, Savannah Thomas and Bash Schofield.
