With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Missie Griffith Smith in Buford, Georgia, born in Prentiss, Mississippi, who passed away on October 31, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her daughter Patricia Dillon; her grandson Weston Dillon; and her sister Patsy Rakestraw. She is survived by: her brother Dale Griffith (Gloria); her son Winston Smith (Mattie); her granddaughters, Micah Smith and Hannah Knight (Jantzen); her great grandchild Norah Knight; her granddaughters, Carlie Dillon and Katie Dillon; and her great grandchildren, Adalyn Poole and Ridgeland Dillon.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either the National Breast Cancer Foundation or to In Touch Ministries.
