He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Payne and Juanita Payne; and his sister Dorthy Bryant. He is survived by: his wife Joyce; his sons, Brad (Emily Payne) and Greg Payne of Buford, GA; and his brothers, Thad (Patricia Payne) and Terry Payne of Norcross, GA. He is also survived by six grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
