She was predeceased by: her husband W. Kenneth McDaniel, Sr.; her parents, Homer F. Lance and Winnie Padgett Lance; and her siblings, Joyce Lance Grogan (Harold), Lamar Lance (Pat) and Wendell Lance (Yvonne).

She is survived by: her children, Ken McDaniel, Jr. (Connie) of Fernandina Beach, FL, Ann McDaniel Christianson (Ric) of Pendergrass and Lynn McDaniel of Atlanta, GA; her grandson Anton Foster (Ashley) of Mechanicsburg, PA; and her sisters-in-law, Sue McDaniel Tribble (Jim) and Sara McDaniel of Cumming, GA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Flanigan Funeral Home (4400 S Lee St, Buford, GA 30518). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home (4400 S Lee St, Buford, GA 30518).
