She is survived by : her son Michael Cottle; her daughter-in-law Kristin Currie Cottle of Sugar Hill; her granddaughters, McKenzie Taylor Cottle and Sydney Marie Cottle; her pet Sophie Cottle; her brother-in-law Charles Allen Cottle (Sheryl Hancock Cottle); her niece Anna; her nephew Peter Cottle; and her brother-in-law Joseph Milton Brogdon Jr. (Weldon Ledbetter).
