She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Lee Howell and Julia Garner Howell. She is survived by: her children, Dr. Jim Spencer (Ethel) of Fountain Inn, Angelia Spencer Cole (Chris) of Atlanta, Georgia and Leadaire Spencer Peay (Ken) of Buford, Georgia.; and her grandchildren, Shelby Spencer Cruse (Garrett) of Liberty, Savannah Spencer Craig (Davis) of Johns Island, Graham Cole (Ashley) of Columbus, Ohio, Natalee Cole Roberts (MacGregor) of Columbus, Ohio, Caroline Cole Nobles (Jarrett) of Wilmington, Celeste Peay Santos (Jeff) of Winston-Salem and Spencer Peay (Ellyn) of Dunwoody, Georgia..
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Jonesville Baptist Church (301 State Rd S-44-38, Jonesville, SC 29353). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Jonesville Baptist Church.
