He is survived by: his wife Elise Higgins Bennett; his children, William Steven "Steve" Bennett and Patricia Ann "Patti" Bennett; his daughter-in-law Stacey Ford Bennett; his grandchildren, James Matthew Bennett, Elijah Lee Bennett and Emily Darlene "Edie" Bennett Wickle; his great grandchild Claira-Bella Skyye Bennett "CeBe"; his sister Bonnis Margaret Bennett; and his niece Cynthia Kaye "Cyndi" Corbin.
