With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sammy Joe Garmon of Buford, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on June 14, 2023 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mauldin Clifford Garmon and Evalee Beavers Garmon; his wife Martha Jo Donaldson Garmon; his son Jody Garmon Jr.; and his brothers, Gilbert and David Garmon.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kelli (Joe Mauldin), Stephanie Smith of Covington, GA., Shanna (David Lewis) and Summer (Joey Nasworthy); his siblings, Joyce Shelton of Blairsville, Alma Lee Parker of Buford, GA., Donny (Laverne Beavers), Jeffery Garmon of Conyers, GA. and Ruben Garmon of Macon, GA.; and his grandchildren, Chase, Peyton Gordy, Coby, Adam, Grace, Rose, Tamara, Storm, Joseph, Mason, Autumn and Haley. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, many other relatives and friends.
