With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Simon J. LaHood of Buford, Georgia, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on July 12, 2022 at the age of 27. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandfathers, Harry LaHood and Franklin Maxheimer; his uncles, Tommy (LaHood), Harry LaHood, Stan, Funny and Steve LaHood; and his aunt Teri Maxheimer.
He is survived by: his parents, Joseph D. LaHood and Susan M. Maxheimer LaHood; his siblings, Joe (Megan), Sam (Michelle), Mitch (Katie), Peoria and Annie of Brooklyn, NY; and his grandmothers, Gloria LaHood and Mariann Maxheimer.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick School.
