We are sad to announce that on April 9, 2023, at the age of 70, Wayne Merrill Akins (Buford, Georgia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Royal Akins; and his sister Donna Rice. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Akins; his children, Amy Jarvis (Vic) and Ben Akins (Katie); his grandchildren, Carson, Jamie, Caleb, Everett, Eila and Liz; his mother Mary Voncille Akins; and his siblings, Joe Akins (Patricia) and Nancy Akins.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the National Parks Conservation Association.
