With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Solomon Barnard (Buford, Georgia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 15, 2025 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Solomon Barnard to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Mae Alley and William Allen Barnard; his daughter Linda Carol; and his brothers, Jay and Lewis Barnard.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Miller; his children, Pam Brown (Lewis), Katie West (AJ), Steven Brown (Summer) and Davis (Grace); his son-in-law Gregg Wade (Mary Helen) of Spartanburg; his grandson Marshall (Jing); his great grandchildren, Emily, Sarah and Ashley Wade; and his nieces, Cheryl B Cox, Catherine Barnard and Penny B. Vetrosky.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crowell Brothers Peachtree Chapel (5051 Peachtree Industrial Blvd, Peachtree Corners, GA 30092). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
The family prefers that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to the Linda Wade Memorial Scholarship Fund at Dallas Theological Seminary, 3909 Swiss Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75204 or to a charity of your choice.
