He is survived by: his wife Sandi Crowe Planes; his daughters, Elaine (David Adams), Elizabeth Planes and Elise (Ryan Moore); his grandchildren, Thomas Edward "Tea" Adams, William "Will" Adams, Jacob "Jake" Adams, Isaac "Ike" Adams, Cannon Terry, Dylan Russell, Presley Russell, Adelina "Addy" Johnson, Micah Johnson, Thomas "Tommy" Moore, Jackson "Jack" Moore, Charleston "Charles" Moore, Walter Moore and Magnolia "Maggie" Moore; and his niece Evelyn Burton Kelly. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
