She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mercer Moore, Sr. and Florence Moncus Moore; her husband Robert Alton Garrett; and her brothers, Steve Ray Moore and Wesley Allen Moore.
She is survived by: her children, John Franklin Garrett (Melanie) of Leesburg, Robert "Bobby" C. Garrett of Butler and Shelia Garrett Willis (Alan) of Mauk; and her siblings, John Mercer Moore, Jr. (Catherine) of Richland, Doris Mathis (Jim) of Franklin and Becky Pearson (Hart) of McDonough. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethel Primitive Baptist Church (33 Bethel Church Rd, Butler, GA 31006). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
