He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Wainwright and Mildred Ball; his siblings, Henry Earl Wainwright, Lonnie Wainwright and Mary Ann Peterman; his uncle Simpson Wainwright; and his aunt Lorraine Cummings.
He is survived by: his children, Paul Wainwright (Monica) of Butler, Brenda Maske of Butler and Jacquelyn Whitley (David) of Butler; his sister Jo Wainwright Hickson (Ed) of Fletcher, NC; and his grandchildren, Paul K. Wainwright (Kimberly) of Warner Robins, Jennifer Wainwright (Bart) of Reynolds, Lacey Dixon (Skeeter) of Butler, Bianca "Paige" Ritchey (Robert Tucker) of Reynolds and Heather Epton (Sydney) of Clyo, GA. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
