We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2025, at the age of 83, Gloria Sampson of Butler, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Gloria leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Gilson and Bernalene Gaultney. She is survived by: her children, Peter Nickie Sampson (Christie) of Franklinton, Louisiana and Mindy Sampson of Butler; her sister Leisa Welch (Billy) of Butler; and her grandchildren, Nikki Kiris (Chris), Tori Carpenter (Cody) and Brian Sampson.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Antioch Baptist Church (2093 Thomaston Hwy N, Butler, GA 31006). A graveside service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:00 PM at the Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery (2093 Thomaston Hwy N, Butler, GA 31006).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Gideons International or IN Faith, 145 John Robert Thomas Drive, Exton, PA 19341.
