It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jamason Byrd of Butler, Georgia, who passed away on May 18, 2025, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jamason Byrd to pay them a last tribute.

He is survived by: his significant other Laurie; his children, Connor Tharpe of Reynolds, Ryan Tharpe of Reynolds and Bridgette Byrd of Reynolds; his parents, James Frank Byrd and Sophenia Betsy Byrd of Milledgeville; his siblings, Michael Douglas Byrd (Jenifer) of Milledgeville and Sophenia Rebecca Gay (Jonathan) of Milledgeville; and his siblings' children, Landon Byrd of Milledgeville, Victoria Byrd of Milledgeville, Parker Gay of Milledgeville, Kelsey Gay of Milledgeville and Holden Gay of Milledgeville.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Country Gardens Activity Fund, 19 Hillcrest Circle, Butler, GA 31006.
