He was predeceased by: his parents, Wanza Davis and Margaret Bazemore Davis; his brother Larry Davis; and his daughter Jessica Davis. He is survived by: his wife Amanda Davis of Butler; his children, Ben Davis of Roberta, Michelle McClanhan of Mt. Juliet and Jamie Jones (David) of Butler; his grandchildren, Anna McClanhan of Mt. Juliet, Shelby, Jessica, Brittney and Allison Jones of Butler; and his pet Festus.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Church, 1516 Thomaston Highway, Butler, GA 31006.
