He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Lizzie Davis Barker and Joseph P. Barker; and his siblings, Willie Joe Barker (Pauline), Johnny Barker (Ruth), Eugene Barker (Esther), Lewis Barker (Shelvie) and Bessie Hanson (GW).

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Tyson Barker; his sons, Randy Barker (Sharie) and Jay Barker (Janna); his grandchildren, Keith Barker (Lauren), Brooke Barker, Amy Bugg (Russell), Blake Barker and Ava Barker; and his great grandchildren, Easton and Emma Barker. He is also survived by the youngest of 6 siblings, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
