We are sad to announce that on September 10, 2022, at the age of 68, Dennis Griffitts of Byron, Georgia, born in Macon, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Marsha Hancock Griffitts; his sons, Heath Griffitts (Deanne Williamson), Matthew Griffitts (Danielle) and Bryant Griffitts (Brandi); his grandchildren, Courtney Upchurch (Caleb), Hannah Griffitts (Kotie Patterson), Austin Griffitts, Ashlee Oropeza (José), Hunter Griffitts (Crystal), Michael Paul Griffitts, Christian Griffitts, Bradley Griffitts and Brandon Griffitts; his great grandchildren, Maeleigh Upchurch, Cohen Upchurch, Hensleigh Griffitts, Mason Oropeza and Ayden Griffitts; his mother Christine Thomason Griffitts; his sisters, Sharon Griffitts and Christie Griffitts (Mike Roman); his pets, Goofy and Dolly; and his father Paul Elliott Griffitts.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in memory of Dennis.
