It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mansfield Jay Williams of Byron, Georgia, who passed away on March 5, 2026, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Mansfield may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Mansfield touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Williams (Jackson) and Leon Williams; and his brothers, Micheal and Joda (Ray). He is survived by: his siblings, Katherine Clay (Floyd), Sandra, Sharon of Georgia and Glenn of Florida; his sister-in-law Dr. Zelma; and his goddaughter Kathryn. He is also survived by numerous cousins, friends.
