He was predeceased by: his parents, Margret Moore McAlister and Eugene L. McAlister (Diane Farmer McAlister); and his brother John McAlister. He is survived by: his brother Thomas McAlister (Laurie); his nephew John McAlister (Tammy); and his stepchildren, Daryl Forehand (Andrea), Cindy Turner (Rodney) and Christopher Smith (Stephanie). He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
