He was predeceased by: his parents, James Clifton Hobbs and Esther Eugenia Stafford Hobbs; and his siblings, Benny Hobbs, Margie Hobbs and Barbara Skipper.

He is survived by: his wife Terri Nix Hobbs of Byron; his children, Chase Hobbs of Reynolds, Maverick Hobbs (Hailey) of Reynolds, Cody Campbell (Caitlyn) of Byron, Morgan Binder (Brandon) of Warner Robins and Miranda Bone (Tanner) of Byron; his siblings, Donnie Hobbs (Laura) of Reynolds, Barney Hobbs (Martha) of Ellaville, Ricky Hobbs (Barbara) of Reynolds, Janice Poole (Ricky) of Ideal and Irene Goree of Riverdale; and his grandchildren, Gavin, Jaxton, Kayden, Cooper, Charleigh and Magnolia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to support Parkinson's Disease research.
