It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon F. Young of Byron, Georgia, born in Butler, Kentucky, who passed away on June 7, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parent Tilford G. Flener; her spouse Sammie Lee Young; her daughter Donna Howard; her brother Allen Flener; and her sister-in-law Bettye Williams.

She is survived by : her daughters, Sheila Rutledge (Lon) of Warner Robins, GA and Melissa Jones (Greg) of Bonaire, GA; her son-in-law Bernard Howard of Macon, GA; her siblings, Sandy Snodgrass of Morgantown, KY and Doug Flener of Morgantown, KY; and her sister-in-law Tina Flener of Morgantown, KY. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren.
