It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Goodwin of Byron, Georgia, who passed away on November 6, 2022, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Leroy Smith and Joyce Smith Matthews of Byron, GA.; her husbands, Irwin W Thames (Tim) and Sidney Casey Goodwin; her brother Steve; and her sister-in-law Charlotte Smith.

She is survived by : her brothers, David Smith (Jeanie) of Conyers, GA, Ricky Smith (Beverly) of Byron and Bruce Smith (Helen) of Rainier, WA; and her nieces and nephews, Patrica Hodges (Scott), Steven Smith (Janet) of Byron, GA, Tim Smith (Tammie) of Oxford, GA, Andrea Cudzilo (John) of Covington, GA, Bonnie Ensminger (Tim) of Cummings, Alex Smith (Elizabeth) of Warner Robins, GA, Heidi DeVries (Justin) of Elma, WA, Beth Greenwood (Barry) of Rainier, WA, Bucky Green (Amy) of Fort Valley, GA, Nikki Taylor (Josh) of Lizella and Tiffany Bechtel (Randy) of Franklin.
