He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Jean Clemons Davis; his children, Carl Davis Jr. and Carla Marshall; his grandsons, Shane Marshall, James Rainy and Matthew Hall; his brother Jeff Davis; and his nephews, Benny Perce, Tony Brannen and Daniel Presley.

A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Tired Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery (1050 Tired Creek Rd, Whigham, GA 39897).
