She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Hawthorn and Lila Harrison Hawthorn; her husband Willie Godwin; her granddaughter Tiffany Rykard; her great grandchild Kristopher Robinson; her siblings, Elmer Hawthorne, Herman Hawthorn, Bill Hawthorn, Dorothy Hawthorn, Janie Brown and Geneva Hawthorn; and her sisters-in-law, Nathelyn Hawthorne and Gloria Gean Hawthorn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Kay Griner of Cairo, GA, Barbara Robinson (Robbie) of Franklin, TN and Connie Rykard (Maurice) of Cairo, GA; her grandson Justin Robinson (Miranda) of Libby, MT; her great grandchildren, Stephen Robinson of Libby, MT, Silas Robinson of Libby, MT, Sean Robinson of Libby, MT, Samuel Robinson of Libby, MT, Savannah Robinson of Cairo, GA, Seth Robinson of Cairo, GA, Sawyer Robinson of Cairo, GA, CJ Cason of Cairo, GA and Shelby Cason of Cairo, GA; her sisters, Mary Singletary of Grovetown, GA and Ethel Gainous (John) of Cairo, GA; and her brother-in-law Johnny Godwin (Mary Alice) of Thomasville, GA. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
