He is survived by: his children, Gege Hayes Gamble (Greg), Phyllis Hayes Arnold, Morrell Gwynn "Bubba" Hayes, Jr. and Steven Hayes (Bibi); his grandchildren, Jonathan, Joy, Jeremy, Trey, Noni, Linny, Jennifer and Samantha; his brother John Wayne Hayes (Patricia); and his brother-in-law Robert E. Beach. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren and 3 step-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
