We announce the death of Anne Butler Collins of Calhoun, Georgia, who passed away on August 24, 2026, at the age of 89. Anne will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. W. Butler and Frances Silks Butler; her son Bill Collins; her grandson Noah Smith; her brother Harry Butler; and her son-in-law Bo Richardson.
She is survived by: her husband E. W. "Ted" Collins; her children, James Collins, Kim Richardson, Jennifer Smith and Julie Evans (Ernie); and her grandchildren, Cody Smith (Lorrie), John Richardson (Raleigh), Jenna Wyatt (Ross), Alex Evans (Emily) and Kate Evans. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Thomas Funeral Home (535 Red Bud Rd NE, Calhoun, GA 30701).
