He is survived by: his wife Pamela Higdon Etheridge; his sons, James Baker, Joseph Etheridge and Matthew Etheridge; his siblings, Rosie Palmer, James Etheridge (Fay) and Tony Etheridge (Betty); and his aunt Sue Gable. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
