He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph A. Lee and Eula Mae Lee; his son Donald Raymond "Ray" Lee; his siblings, Billy Joe Lee, Jerry M. Lee, Josephine Glisson (Homer), Annie Laura Collins (William), Carolene Johnson (Ed) and Bobbie Jean Smith; his half-brothers, Otis Lee and Fred Lee; and his granddaughter Caroline Joy Lee.

He is survived by: his wife Margie J. Lee; his son Richard Lee (Stephanie); his daughter-in-law Melissa "Pokey" Radford Brown (Kevin); his half-siblings, Danny Lee (Elaine), Joseph Lee (Marsha), Mona Maney, Jean Nichols (Ken), Cathy Miller (Rick) and Donna Cole (Steve); his grandchildren, Deanna Lee Hudson (Devon), Timothy Lee and Katelyn "Katie" Lee; and his in-laws, Bonnie Rhoden, Jackie Lee and Grace Lee. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
