He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Harris and Helen Harris; and his siblings, Fred Harris, Johnny Harris and Pat Harris.
He is survived by: his wife Pamela Harris; his son Joshua Harris; his daughter-in-law Shaunda Harris; his brother Ben Harris; and his grandchildren, Jada Harris, Revalyn Harris and Kaizer Harris. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Douglas by showing kindness to others and, of course, cheering "Go Dawgs!" in his memory.
