With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Clark Gillespie of Calhoun, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 1, 2025 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Clark and Katie Blanche Clark; her husband Frank Joseph Gillespie; her daughter Karen Roberts; her siblings, Roy Clark, Jr., Frances McAfee and Sybil Hollaran; and her brother-in-law Kenneth Tindall.
She is survived by: her son Ed Gillespie (Maureen); her sister Tommie Tindall; her grandchildren, Cassie Ferguson (Brad), Erin Jamison (Josh), Alden Gillespie and Lily Gillespie; her great grandchildren, Trent, Abigail, Amelia Ferguson and Eliza Jamison; and her great-niece Caty McAfee. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Max Brannon & Sons Funeral Home (711 College St, Calhoun, GA 30701). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
