With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth DeLay Hegwood (Calhoun, Georgia), who passed away on March 15, 2025 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Toy DeLay and Fannie Lee Wilson DeLay; and her husband James Perry "Pete" Hegwood. She is survived by: her son Barry Hegwood (Jerri); her grandchildren, Grace Elizabeth Hegwood (Tucker Bartholomew), Lilly Lynn Hegwood and Ellie Rose Hegwood; and her sister Mildred DeLay Sanders.
