He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Emily and Birdie Jenkins Emily; and his wife Sally Sue Emily. He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Archer (Ed) and Linda Emily (Jesus); and his grandchildren, Matthew Garcia Emily, Cecilia Garcia-Emily, Kathryn Emily Caldwell, Ryan Kasey Archer and Zachary Cruze Archer.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery (1080 Scott Hudgens Dr, Canton, GA 30114).
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations be made to the St. Jude Children Hospital in honor of Mr. Emily.
