He is survived by: his mother Betty Jean McCroskey Wheeler; his wife Jennifer Bridges Wheeler; his sister Phyllis Reed (Richard); his children, Amanda Powell (Dustin), Greg Wheeler (Becky) and Ashley Manning; his grandchildren, Kelsey Puckett (Blake), Madisen Powell (Tristan), Jamison Bray (Seth), Ethan Wheeler, Blake Brown and Ella Manning; his great grandchildren, Wyatt Bray and Mya Puckett; and his nieces, Sherry Crawford (Randall) and Susan Black (Phillip).

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Atlanta Hope Lodge, 1552 Shoup Court, Decatur, Georgia.
