With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joel Dean Dailey of Calhoun, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 29, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Boling Dailey and J. M. Dailey; his brothers, Boyd Leland Dailey and Dailey, Jr.; and his brother-in-law Lonnie F. Hasty.

He is survived by: his wife Bettye Alred Dailey; his daughter Elizabeth Dailey Reilly; his son-in-law Chris; his grandchildren, Morgan Elizabeth Reilly and William Christopher Reilly; his sister-in-law Charlotte Alred Hasty; his nephews, Joel Douglas Hasty and Gregory Donovan Hasty (Katie); his great-niece Caroline Hasty Hopper; and his great-nephews, Garrett and William Hasty.
