Kay Bearden Rutledge Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kay Bearden Rutledge of Calhoun, Georgia, who passed away on March 3, 2026 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Bearden and Artie Bearden; her husband Roy Rutledge; and her siblings, Donald Bearden, Betty Garrett and Rita McBrayer.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kathy Dodd (Larry Lovingood), Kelly Parker (Gary) and Tammy Tetzlaff (Randy); her brothers, Ray Bearden, Lamar Bearden and Jerry Bearden (Nancy); her grandchildren, Erin Childers (Brian), Miranda Parker Pass, Derek Parker (Ashley), Alex Tetzlaff and Seth Tetzlaff; her great grandchildren, Allie Childers (Paul), Trevor Childers, Savannah Pass (Seth), Cooper Pass, Carter Parker and Kolby Parker; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Kayden Poole and Braylen Glover; and her great great grandchild Sage Swartz. She is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, extended family.

Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made in her honor to the Damascus Baptist Church WMU.
