He was predeceased by: his parents, George V. Cochran and Helen Johnson; and his wife Jane Priscilla Goldsmith Cochran. He is survived by: his sons, Mark W. Cochran and Michael Cochran; his daughters-in-law, Diana Cochran and Helena Cochran-Jones; his grandsons, Joseph W. Cochran and Anthony M. Cochran; and his stepgrandson Ron Tedder.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Thomas Funeral Home (535 Red Bud Rd NE, Calhoun, GA 30701). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
