He was predeceased by: his parents, Salud Ramirez and Conselo Ruiz; and his former wife Hilda Josefina Ramirez. He is survived by: his wife Maria Aurora Ramirez; his children, Jose Luis Ramirez, Veronica Ramirez, Miriam Ramirez, Luis C. Ramirez, Elena Villanueva, Florencio Ramirez and Pablo E. Ramirez; and his siblings, Juan Salud Ramirez, Rebecca Hernandez and Ramona Carrillo. He is also survived by twenty-eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thomas Funeral Home (535 Red Bud Rd NE, Calhoun, GA 30701). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Clements Catholic Church (875 Hwy 53, Calhoun, GA 30701).
