With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Ruth Thomas of Calhoun, Georgia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 10, 2025 at the age of 83. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Mary Ruth leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Mary Ruth may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommy Tucker and Daisy Orr Tucker; her husband James C. Thomas; her brother Jim Tucker; and her stepbrother Randy Coggins.
She is survived by: her son Kenneth Lynn Rogers; her stepsisters, Judy Coggins and Debra Coggins; and her grandsons, Dustin Lynn Rogers and Jonathan James Rogers.
Visitation was held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Max Brannon and Sons Funeral Home (711 College St, Calhoun, GA 30701). A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Max Brannon and Sons (711 College St, Calhoun, GA 30701).
